Baze hands Chirrut the rope, and lowers himself into the crevasse. He braces his back against the rock wall and his feet on the other side, scooting down. "Easy, easy," he soothes, looping the rope around the mewling creature. He ties a knot around its back. "Okay, Chirrut, pull."
