Ben keeps his eyes locked with Kell's, ignoring everything around them - the droids, the cloak, the growing tension between Nomar and Ibani, everything - and shakes his head. There is nothing in the Force from him, of course, but for a second his eyes carry just a fraction of the regret he has not yet managed to let go.
"If you do this," he tells her softly, "you'll do it to yourself - you'll never find peace after that."
He doesn't lower his lightsaber, which rather belies his talk of peace. It's not true, anyway - that 'never.' He has to believe that even the worst of the Dark Side users can be brought back, no matter what they've done. But it's easier if it happens before that.
