Ibani hadn't expected to wake up, not really. She comes out of the trance with a start, eyes snapping open. The Force is full of confusion and fear and her eyes dart to his face.
It's been more than 3 years since anyone has touched her without intent to do her harm, so she feels like she should pull away, but she's too weak to move.
(And yes, the black melon is terrible, but Ibani has had worse.)
