Ben holds her tight to him, letting his cloak fall around them both as he gently kneels, bringing her down with him so they can sit in the sand together, all the time she needs to cry.

He does eventually push her away enough to take her sword arm into his hands, and gently start cleaning it - using the physical Force to push the sand out and his own life Force to accelerate her healing, where the krayt and the sword between them have done some damage.
