Quin doesn't bother hiding his assessment of the promises--eyes darting about looking for exits, threats, and possible hiding places--since he is supposed to be an apprentice, and really, what use is an apprentice that doesn't keep his master alive?
Through the Force though, Ibani will likely feel a surge in interest and joy at the look of the armor. He's seen and worn armor in his time, but nothing so clearly designed to be used with the Force. He does wonder if it will merely deflect blasters and other typical weapons, or if it there are any that can protect the wearer from lightsabers.
